Discipleship happens best in the context of communities. The practice of people meeting in small groups for discipleship and spiritual edification has been happening since the times of Moses. Additionally, through life groups, people are able to grow and build relationships with one another, learn about their spiritual gifts in ministry, devote their selves to one another in prayer and service, and find leadership training and opportunities.
